This is the hard bound version of the Whitelines books. I really love the white lines on the slightly gray squares. Everything I write and draw stands out a lot more than the standard graph paper. The squares are perfectly sized for journaling and drawing. The hard bound is well done with good stitching. It comes with a built in cloth bookmark, which is very nice. My only complaint is that I would probably prefer the soft bound or spiral one over this simply because I like my books/journals to be able to stay open on their own. The binding is tight enough that it closes unless you hold it open. It's not so tight that you have to exert a lot of pressure to keep it open. If you are looking for a great hard bound squared (graph paper) book, this is it!
